September 11, 2021
In observance of the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, we and our partners invite you to help us transform the anniversary of 9/11
into a a day of unity and "good deeds" to help those most in need.
Our principal partners include the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, Pentagon Memorial, Friends of Flight 93 National Memorial, and City of New York, along with Tuesday's Children, Voices center for Resilience, Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund, FealGood Foundation, and many other leading 9/11 organizations.
Our goal is to inspire Americans and others to perform 100 million good deeds in remembrance and tribute for the 20th anniversary of 9/11.
We are planning many significant programs which we will announce soon. These include organizing virtual and live volunteer projects, delivering tens of thousands of meals to people in need, supporting our first responders and members of our military community, and staging other major commemorative events.
We'd like to invite you to participate. Just drop us an email now to get more information.
Our Story and Mission
9/11 Day, created in 2002 with the support of the 9/11 community, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
Our overall mission is to rekindle the extraordinary spirit of togetherness and compassion that arose in the immediate aftermath of the 9/11 tragedy, and to inspire Americans and others to do good deeds that help to create a better and more peaceful world. This initiative exists as a permanent and positive tribute to those killed and injured in the 9/11 attacks, and as a result of other terrorist acts around the world, and in honor of the many brave individuals who have risen in service in response to these tragedies.
This year, we pay special tribute to the many people in the United States and around the world who have died of COVID-19
and the many front line workers who were first responders in helping is battle the pandemic.
Let's never forget what we're capable of doing together.
