Cindy Mcginty
Share your good deed to meCindy McGinty, a graduate of the University of Connecticut, worked in the insurance industry in Human Resources and Health Claims for over 15 years. She then left the work world to raise her two sons and turned her skills to volunteer work in her church and school community. Cindy lost her husband Michael on September 11, 2001.
She was a founding Board member of the Mass Military Heroes Fund and also served on the Family Advisory Committee for the Mass 911 Fund. Cindy was a former board member at Auerfarm in Bloomfield serving as Chair of the Development Committee. Cindy was past President of the McGinty Scholarship Foundation and a member of the Family Advisory Committee for Tuesday’s Children.
Cindy is currently a CORE Ambassador for Homes for Our Troops, and is on the on Board of Visitors at the Dublin School. Currently she sits on the board of the Bristol Adult Resource Center, Inc. which serves adults with intellectual disabilities including her beloved sister Sally. Cindy believes deeply in the idea of community service, volunteering and helping family members to remember their lost loved ones.
