Program Partners are invited to create opportunities for individuals and organizations to pay tribute through charitable service and engagement in observance of 9/11 Day. This can include, for example, staging volunteer service events, hosting memorial services, or offering opportunities for individuals to make donations to support nonprofit charities (including yours). As a Program Partner, it is entirely up to you to determine what specifically you want to do for 9/11 Day, within appropriate guidelines.
No, that’s up to you. They can be private events for your employers, members, students, or other community members, or they can be open, or partially open to the general public.
While it is always our preference for projects and activities to happen on September 11 itself, or within a few days of 9/11, Program Partners are free to host them on another day during the month of September.
There is no cost. Everything we offer in the Official Program Partners is free of charge.
Official Program Partners are intended for organizations. However, we will soon be launching a special program just for individuals who wish to organize their own projects and activities in support of 9/11 Day.
