HOW TO
RECRUIT VOLUNTEERS:
1
Review our recruitment resources..
Browse our short videos from 9/11 survivors, first responders, and family
members; one pagers on the project in each city; and best practices to implement as you recruit volunteers.
2
Confirm with 9/11 Day whether you plan to use 9/11 Day’s volunteer registration system, or
your own.
Our system provided through Golden offers many advantages. For more information, see our Golden Overview or contact Jackie Williams.
4
Launch your registration effort ASAP!
Registration is open now and runs through September 1st. Launch your registration as soon as you
can, using your own registration system or the custom project registration links we’ll provide to
you.
5
Prepare to, and then launch your virtual “I Will for 9/11 Day” campaign.
This is a great way to involve your entire organization virtually by challenging them to create
their own acts of service for 9/11 Day. Download the toolkit , and attend our #IWillFor911Day Kickoff Webinar on Tuesday, August 8th at 1pm ET.
